AI Dev Assistant

Claude and Codex develop your GitHub projects, around the clock.

It runs on your own PC, with your own Claude and Codex subscriptions. You approve, answer and watch from this page, on a phone or a desktop.

How a task goes

  1. Planproposed; you approve
  2. Buildone AI, its own branch
  3. Checkthe tests, on your PC
  4. Reviewby the other AI (one AI alone: a separate review session)
  5. Mergeexactly what was reviewed

What you need

A Claude or Codex subscription

Your own Claude Pro or Max, or ChatGPT Plus or Pro. One is enough.

A GitHub account

Where your projects are.

A Windows PC

A Mac and Linux are coming.

Nothing else to pay

The AIs work on your subscriptions, never on paid extra use.

How your work stays safe

Your subscriptions stay yours

Your own Claude and Codex logins, on your own PC: never shared, never used for anyone else's work, never seen by this website.

Saved on GitHub

Each task works on its own branch, saved every 15 minutes.

Tested, then reviewed

Your project's own tests run on your PC, and the other AI reviews exactly that work.

Main stays sound

Only the reviewed commit reaches main; while main's own checks fail, only its repair merges.

Stop any time

Development OFF saves every task's work; ON continues each one where it stopped.

Your privacy

What the dashboard receives and never receives, and the terms: Privacy and terms.

    On a Mac: coming later.

  4. 4
    Link your PC

The assistant starts and opens the sign-in page on your PC, and your PC is linked to your account.

  5. 5
    Connect GitHub and your AIs

The assistant checks whether your PC is already signed in to GitHub, and to a Claude or Codex subscription. Already signed in: nothing to do. If not, a short checklist helps you sign in, each in its own page.

  6. 6
    Add your first project

Pick one of your GitHub repositories, turn development ON, and approve the first tasks the planner proposes.

FAQ

Can I keep working in VS Code?

Yes. A task never touches a branch you have checked out in your own folder, and the assistant takes only the issues meant for it, never your own.

Do I need both Claude and Codex?

No, one is enough: it builds each task and reviews it in a separate session. With both, each one reviews the other's work.

What if an AI hits its limit?

That AI rests until its limit resets, and the other one carries the work. Only you end a rest early.

Does it cost anything?

Only your own subscriptions: never paid extra use, AI API keys or credits.

What does the dashboard see?

Only what it shows you: your projects' and tasks' status, and your chat. Your project's files and the passwords or tokens of your logins never reach it. Claude and Codex read the code they work on, under their makers' terms.

Can it break main?

Only checked and reviewed work is merged, exactly the commit that was reviewed. When main's own checks fail, nothing else merges until its repair does.

How do I uninstall it?

In Your account, release your PC (every task's work goes to GitHub), then run Uninstall AI Dev Assistant from the Start menu. Your projects folder, your sign-ins and your work on GitHub stay. Pasting the install command again brings it back, and your projects are offered again.
